What if the “other dimension” what so close to us that we could not see it?
Always there, so accessible, but unseen…
What I mean by “other dimension” is in fact Presence. Being present, being self-aware, present in the now, to the silence, to our inner self, to our breathing. Without thought, simply being in the moment. Time stands still. Self appears. Everything stays the same, but all is different.
Did you ever dream that you were holding something that filled you with happiness and – poof! as soon as you woke up, it disappeared? What was there no longer exists, of course, as it was only a dream. But the disappointment you felt at that moment remains.
That is kind of how I see life. We lose so many moments in our thoughts, in our minds, without realizing to what extent materiality is a gift. The feeling of interacting with matter is exciting as well as fleeting; being aware of all of the senses that allow us to be in contact with the world is precious. We must be aware, as often as possible in order to maintain a full heart to the very end.
Beyond the thoughts that cloud our minds, be they joyous or dark, our true Self remains surrounded by blue skies. In a state of Presence, there is no room for judgment or labels. There is only pure, peaceful, attentive Presence.
A new year lies before us. I have been absent from this blog for a while now, but I’m back, eager for 2019.
As in many families, in my clan, we wish everyone a healthy new year, telling each other nothing else matters. All other wishes of joy, love, happiness, etc. follow suit. As for me, dear Seekers, I wish Presence for each and every one of us in 2019. I think that it is at the root of all. Everything else, including health, will follow naturally. ;)).
